Game #5- Colorado vs. Boston

Well, today was the day for the Bruins to play my old team. Keywords "old team", Colorado. You know I was so pumped for this game when you rush home from work between shifts and you don't miss a single second. I thought that was kinda cool. We didn't get off the greatest of starts allowing 2 goals within 37 seconds in the 1st, but we got our payback when we got 2 goals in the 2nd from Recchi and Wheeler but that didn't last long when Colorado got 2 more goals with a 3.5 minute span, one of those was a shorty, not good. We got one goal back in the 3rd period from Ryder but Craig Anderson was on his head. Shots on goal were 32-22 Bruins. Final score was 4-3 Colorado.

Bruins Record- 2-3-0 4pts
Next Game- Friday night @ 9:30pm in Dallas

Goal scorers for the Bruins this game
Mark Recchi (1) from Bergeron and Kobasew at 7:45 of the 2nd Period
Blake Wheeler (2) from Ryder and Krejci at 10:14 of the 2nd Period
Michael Ryder (2) from Lucic and Krejci at 6:24 of the 3rd Period
Erin, if you work Friday night, do you want updates?

Game #4- New York Islanders vs. Boston

After the 6-1 butt kickin we got Thursday night against Anaheim, I was looking forward to the game tonight against the Islanders for two reasons. #1, I get to so John Tavares play in a Islanders jersey for the 1st time and #2, Tuukka Rask was starting for the Bruins. When you get a PP chance in the first 12 seconds, I'm like saying here we go right off the bat. Can't say we didn't have our chances just Dwayne Roloson shut the door on that. After the cheap shot Sean Bergenheim had on Marc Savard (non-call), Andrew Ference stuck up for Savard but Ference was the only one that got anything. If that was bad enough, 21 seconds later Blake Wheeler took a 4-minute hi-sticking call. We killed it all off, thank god. The 2nd period was all Islanders. Goals from Jon Sim, Radek Martinek and John Tavares made it 3-0 Isles after 2. It wasn't looking good for the BOYS. After I yelled at the TV for the first 11:58 of the 3rd, somebody fliped the switch to on for the Bruins. Marc Savard finally broke thru Roloson at 11:59, good still need two more. 15:35, Bitz scores, 3-2. Ok, we now a miracle. less than 5 minutes left and it's 3-2 Islanders, somebody had to step up plate and tie this game. Somebody stepped up alright, Hunny struck. Matt Hunwick scored at 17:26 to tie the game. Boston had all momentum after that. It went to overtime, nothing happened but both teams had there chances. Shootout time. Blake Wheeler scored first and then the Isanders tied it, grrr. After both teams missed shots in the 2nd round. Here come the 3rd round and here comes Marc Savard. Yup, goal. Come on Rask, stop Kyle Okposo. Rask stopped him, Bruins win 4-3 in the shootout. Final shots on goal, 38-30 for the Islanders. Next game is Monday afternoon at 2pm vs. my old team Colorado. That should be interesting

Bruins record: 2-2-0 4pts

Marc Savard (2) from Chara and Lucic at 11:59 of the 3rd
Byron Bitz (1) from Begin and Hunwick at 15:35 of the 3rd
Matt Hunwick (2) from Wheeler and Ference at 17:26 of the 3rd
Marc Savard with the shootout winner

What an awesome comeback BOYS, great job. Keep it going

Game #3- Anaheim vs. Boston

Last year's Bruins showed up last game and I was looking forward to this game. We got off to a good start, we scored the 1st goal of the game from Marco Sturm in the 1st period. We outshot the Ducks 19-11 and I got the thinking, same outcome as the Carolina game the other night. 2nd period starts and we got called for 2 bad penalties, not good. They scored 2 PPG's, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. It basically went down hill after that. Damn you Corey Perry and company. We got blown out 6-1. After we scored the 1st goal, the Ducks scored the next 6. I wasn't too happy. Next game is Saturday night against the Islanders. Looking for a better outcome

Sturm (2) from Savard and Wideman at 16:33 of the 1st

Bruins record: 1-2-0

Game #2 Carolina vs. Boston, a.k.a. REVENGE!!!!!

Game #7, last season in the playoffs when Scott Walker scored that goal to beat us out in the playoffs and took the dream away from us, all I said was payback is a comin' the question was when. When I seen the schedule back in July that Carolina plays us tonight, that date got circled pretty fast. I called it "REVENGE".Oh, 2 people we're very pissed off that we were gone in the 2nd Round of the playoffs, and u know who they are, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. On to tonight, 1st thing, when will teams learn not to mess with our PP, u give us a PP early u will dearly. Thank u Marc Savard. that was pretty all we needed, well not really. more calls 2 Carolina and we kept scoring PPG's, hehe Michael Ryder. We were 4/8 on the PP. After we made it 6-1, i had to text my friend Erin, who was a little under the weather, that we scored again and Lucic was in a fight. I think i might have woke her up after we made it 5-1, all good it's Boston. Lets just say after Lucic completely destroyed Jay Harrison (BLOODBATH), all hell broke lose. there was 3 fight within a 30 second period. I said to her, "u picked a good time 2 wake up". hehehehehe. so after all the fun was over, we said that the 3rd is going to be rough. 1 fight, but it was a big one, Alberts vs. Thornton. What an ass kickin Thornton put on Alberts. What a performance from the Bruins tonight, nice bounce back after Thursday night's lose to Washington. Here is the scoring summary for the Bruins in tonight's game

Savard (1) PPG from Ryder and Morris at 4:06 1st
Ryder (1) PPG from Chara and Morris at 1238 1st
Wheeler (1) from Begin and Lucic at 13:04 1st
Sturm (1) from Savard at 10:37 2nd
Wideman (1) PPG from Bergeron and Recchi at 12:44 2nd
Thornton (1) Begin at 18:23 2nd
Hunwick (1) PPG from Sturm and Savard at 8:29 3rd

1-1-0 2 PTS. Keep it going Bboys. Next Game Thursday vs. Anaheim at 8pm

It's all mine

6 years ago, my dad gets Bell Express Vu. I wanted CENTER ICE. We tried to get it. Couldn't get cause you needed a credit card to get it, which sucks. So all I had was free previews for 6 years. This afternoon. I wanted it, after 45 minutes with EASTLINK, we got it. The 6 year wait has come true, I'm so happy that I'm doing backflips. What 2 watch 1st. This I do know, tomorrow night, Carolina- Boston is all mine. Well, I'm not the only one that will be watching it, right Erin, hehe

Game #1 Washington vs. Boston

I completely missed this game. I don't have CENTRE ICE, yet, but it's coming. hopefully tomorrow, crossing my fingers. So I had a little bit of help. 3 people were sending me texts while I was at hockey tonight. I would like to thank my best bud Erin, my friend Justin and somebody that I have no idea who it is that I'm still trying to figure out how they got my cell number. No biggie, I'll find out sometime. I only seen the highlight but I know Erin seen the game so she can probably give a little more insight of the game. But from what I seen in the highlights, it didn't look good. Bad enough Ovechkin was doing his thing. We got out shot bad, 34-20. the only goal we got was from Patrice Bergeron at 7:56 of the 3rd. This was not the night that I have visioned 0-1-0, not good. Hopefully the next game will be better, Saturday at 8pm vs. Carolina, REVENGE!!!!!!!! As for my first hockey night at Port Williams School tonight. 1-1 13 goals allowed with a 6.50 GAA. Bring on next week. Here is the scoring summary fot the Bruins tonight

Bergeron (1) from Begin and Stuart at 7:56 3rd

We are 0-1-0 0 PTS. Next Game vs. Carolina at 8pm
